A conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory
April 23, 2015 in the Athens under the sponsorship of Ambotis Group, was organized the scientific conference "70 years of Victory: enduring relevance Triumph 1945".
The conference was held under the auspices of the Embassy of Russia in Greece with the participation of the Foundation of supporting and protecting the rights of compatriots living abroad and KSRS Greece. Russian and Greek historians, political scientists, lawyers, representatives of the Embassy of Russia and the leadership of Greece took part of this event. The conference began with a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to Soviet soldiers in the area of Kallithea.
At the end of conference was adopted the resolution which stated that the victory in World War II is the most important historical event of the 20th century. Its relevance today cannot be overestimated.
